How to connect WooCommerce to PixelFiddler

- Step 1
Open the REST API keys
In WordPress go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API (in Polish: Ustawienia → Zaawansowane → Klucze REST API) and click Add key.
- Step 2
Set Read/Write permissions
Enter a description (e.g. PixelFiddler), pick a user with administrator rights and set permissions to Read/Write (Zapis/odczyt in Polish). Click Generate API key.
- Step 3
Copy both keys
Copy the Consumer key and the Consumer secret (Klucz konsumenta and Tajny konsumenta in Polish). WooCommerce shows the secret only once.

Connect in PixelFiddler
In PixelFiddler open Integrations → WooCommerce → Connect and paste the store address and both keys. Use the exact address – with www if your store uses it, and with the subfolder if WooCommerce runs in one.

Switch marking on, and AI photos leave us already labelled
The EU AI Act's Article 50 transparency rules have applied since 2 August 2026. In short: if a photo looks real but was generated or significantly altered by AI, the buyer should be told. On one photo that is trivial. Across a catalogue of several hundred, a question comes up: who remembers which ones came out of AI?
The automation remembers.
It made them.
AIThe badge sits in the corner of the photo, at a size and position you set once. What counts as AI content follows from the kind of operation. Judging whether a given listing needs a disclosure is still your call.
The mark stays in the file
You switch marking on once in your space settings. From then on we burn the badge into the photo on download and when sending to channels that have no field of their own for this – so it stays in the file wherever it goes: into WooCommerce or onto any other channel. Where a channel does expose a field for an AI declaration, we fill it in on the integrations that support it.
What we don't mark
We don't treat background removal or upscaling as content creation, so those photos are never marked. We mark what AI actually drew: generated photos, UGC, ghost mannequin. That's our rule, not a reading of the law – if you're replacing a background with a generated one, treat it as generation.

The key is read-only. Create a new key with Read/Write permissions, or change the existing one, and connect the store again.
Yes. The REST API works even while the store is hidden from customers.
No. PixelFiddler sends photos, title and description. Price, stock, categories, attributes and variations stay as they are.
They leave the product gallery but stay in the WordPress media library – nothing is deleted for good. If the product has no photos in PixelFiddler, the store gallery is left as it is.
It arrives in WooCommerce as a draft with an SKU starting with PF-. You add the price and publish it when you are ready.
If the store redirects to its www or non-www version, PixelFiddler follows that redirect within the same domain. Redirects to another domain are not followed – enter the address the store actually runs on.
